Meal Plan refunds are only allowed in the situations as stated below.
- Withdrawal from school
- Refunds for a full-month meal plan are only allowed if student withdraws from the school.
- Refund requests are only accepted before the effective start date of the meal plan.
E.g. If you have made payment for June meal plan and your child is withdrawing from the
school on 15 June, the refund request for June meal plan must be submitted before 1
June. Refund request submitted on or after 1 June will not be accepted. - Please submit your refund request via email request to cafeteria@nexus.edu.sg, along with
relevant documents showing the date of the student’s withdrawal from the school. - If eligible, the refund request will be processed within 14 calendar days.
- For cash refunds, the requestor will be informed when the cash refund is available for
collection. - For refunds via Stripe (credit card refund), the refund will be paid to the same card account
used for the payment of the meal plan, after deducting any processing fees incurred due to
the refund.
- Unforeseen absence due to medical leave
- Refunds for absence due to medical reasons will be given if the period of medical leave
exceeds 3 days. - Refund starts from the date of notice to Chartwells or start date of medical leave period,
whichever is later.
E.g. If the student is on medical leave from 11 July to 20 July. When the parent notifies
Chartwells of the child’s medical leave on 10 July, refunds will be given for the period from 14 –
20 July (4th day from 11 July onwards). If notification is given by the parent on 13 July, the
refund will be given for 16 – 20 July (4th day from 13 July onwards). - Medical certificate issued by a medical practitioner will be required. Please submit your
refund request via email to cafeteria@nexus.edu.sg, and state clearly the full name and
grade of the student. - Refunds will be made via e-wallet credits.
- The amount of refund is computed based on number of days’ meals not consumed, subject
to GST at the prevailing rate. - The refund will be credited to your e-wallet within 14 calendar days.
- School activities
- The school may conduct activities during the school term such as school trips, excursions, or
camps. - The student may not require meals during the period of these activities. Refunds will be
given for the period of the school activity when the student is not in school. - Please submit your refund request via email to cafeteria@nexus.edu.sg 5 calendar days prior
to the start of the activity, stating the name and date of the school activity and the full name
and grade of the student. - Refunds will be made via e-wallet credits.
- The amount of refund is computed based on number of days’ meals not consumed, subject
to GST at the prevailing rate. - The refund will be credited to your e-wallet within 14 calendar days.
- Pre-orders / Meal Plan
- Refund requests are to be made 3 calendar days prior to the pre-order date.
E.g. if a pre-order was made for a meal on 15 June, the refund request must be submitted
before 12 June. - Please submit your refund request via email to cafeteria@nexus.edu.sg stating the dates of
the refund period, full name and grade of the student. - Refunds will be made via e-wallet credits.
- The amount of refund is computed based on number of days’ meals not consumed, subject
to GST at the prevailing rate. - The refund will be credited to your e-wallet within 14 calendar days.
